Card declines or can't checkout

There are a number of factors why a user might be unable to checkout a product on your Whop Business dashboard. Some of the most common reasons include:
The user's billing information is incorrect.
This could mean their security code, street address, zip code, or other information does not match what their issuing bank has on file. Have them confirm with their bank their exact billing details and try again.
Blocked due to Stripe Radar.
Stripe has an advanced anti-fraud and payments protection program that blocks customers who exceed certain security thresholds. A number of data points are used to determine a purchasers risk score, including ip addresses, email names, location, etc. You can learn more about Stripe Radar here: . Ask the customer to try using a different card or payment method.
Failed 3DS processing
It is more common nowadays in the US and especially in the EU for cards to require 3DS authentication. 3D Secure is card authentication that requires the customer to enter a sms code or 2fa code to verify their identity and the purchase. Sometimes the issuing bank's system can go offline or have errors, which is out of our control. Ask the customer to use a different payment method, or try completing their purchase through Apple Pay.
If the customer is certain their billing information is correct, Whop support staff can investigate the payment attempts on a case by case basis if you provide the customers email and the last 4 digits of their card. We will be able to tell you insight on why the payment is not going through.
