Creating a crypto-only renewal plan

If you haven't yet made an access pass, you'll want to read our guide on how to do so.

After you have an access pass you can work with, you'll want to add a new pricing option by selecting "+ Add pricing option".

---

There are two separate routes you can take for crypto-renewals on Whop. You can:

  1. Set up a crypto-renewal product that is set to an ETH amount that never changes. An example of this would be if you want to charge [0.1 ETH / month]. Regardless of the USD price of ETH, you'll always get 0.1 ETH per month.

  2. The second option is charging in ETH, but having the monthly price pegged to USD. An example of this would be if you want to charge $100 per month for your product, but want to get paid in ETH. At the time of each renewal, it will take the current price of ETH and divide $100 by it, ensuring you always get paid in ETH, but that it's also always $100 worth of ETH.

Below we'll run through how to set up both.

Setting up a Crypto renewal set to ETH (option 1 above)

As seen in the image below, all you need to do for this to be set up properly is:

  1. Change the currency from the default of USD to ETH.

  2. Select your billing period

  3. Set the amount you'd like to receive in ETH during that billing period.

---

Setting up a Crypto renewal pegged to a fiat price(option 2 above)

As seen in the image below, all you need to do for this to be set up properly is:

  1. Set the base currency you'd like your ETH price pegged to.

  2. Input the price you'd like to charge.

  3. Select your billing period.

  4. Lastly check "Ethereum".

You're all good to go! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions on getting set up!
