Send push notifications straight to your users' phones!

Nowadays the average Discord user is in over 100 servers. This means that your important messages are likely slipping through the cracks. Whop to the rescue!

Why use push notifications?

  1. Cut through the noise and clutter of Discord channels

  2. Ensure your important announcements won't be missed

Examples of push notifications

  • Announce new holder benefits

  • AMA announcements

  • Roadmap updates

  • Anything else you think is important!

Downloading the Whop App

Chances are, your holders already have accounts on Whop (it was required for them to claim their Discord roles with their NFTs). Now, all you need them to do is download the Whop App:

  1. Download the Whop App on IOS or Android.

  2. Sign in with the Discord account they used to verify their NFTs.

Connecting a wallet is NOT required to use the Whop App. The entire sign-in process can be done with a Discord account 😅

Sending push notifications

There are two ways you can send notifications to your holders:

  1. From your Whop Dash.

  2. From the Whop Bot on Discord: whop push <message>

Send from your Dashboard

Start by opening the Notifications app on your dashboard here...

Customize your notification

On your dashboard, you can customize the following notification properties:

  • Body — Customize the message you want members to receive.

  • Link — Customize the link you want members to tap (optional).

Title is auto-generated based on your company's name (Eg. "From Pied Piper")
