What is a Pass?

Put simply, a Pass (aka. 'Access Pass') is a digital membership. It's what your customers buy to get access to your digital experiences.

You can think of a Pass kind of like a membership to a country club... It unlocks access to certain experiences, such as a gym, pool, golf course, restaurant, and movie theater. In your case, the unlocked digital experience(s) can be a software, website, Discord role, content, NFT, or something else!

Plans (Pricing Options)

A Plan (aka. 'Pricing Option') is a specific way to pay for a Pass.

Let's say you want to sell access to a desktop app, and you want to offer customers different options to pay—a monthly subscription option, a yearly subscription option, and a free lifetime membership for close friends and family. Instead of creating separate Passes for each of these different options, Plans let you create just one Pass, and offer multiple Plans to get that Pass.
