How to send a notification

Sending push notifications is a powerful way to engage your members. To send your first push notification:

  1. Go to the Notifications page here.

  2. Type the message you want to send.

  3. Add a link (optional).

  4. Send notification to all (or just some) of your members!

What members see

Members who have the Whop App installed on their phone will get notified with your message.

Customize your notification

On your dashboard, you can customize the following notification properties:

  • Body — Customize the message you want members to receive.

  • Link — Customize the link you want members to tap (optional).

Title is auto-generated based on your company's name (Eg. "From Pied Piper")

Discord shortcut

For extra convenience, you can send push notifications from Discord using the Whop bot and a simple keyboard shortcut.

To create a new push notification, type the following:

whop push message

Note: Only your Whop team members with support, admin, or owner roles can send push notifications using the Whop Bot on Discord.

To include a link in your notification, just paste the URL at the end of your message:

"Hey friends, click this link https://www.google.com/ "

View sent notifications

View all sent notifications by selecting "View all sent >" on the App Notifications home page. It will take you to this page where you can see all of the information around the push notification that was sent:
